16th Annual Dory Lakes Trick-or-Treat

The Dory Lakes subdivision will be celebrating Halloween with trick-or-treating on September 23. This leaves Halloween weekend open to continue festivities around Gilpin County or down the hill.

To be safe and respectful of everyone’s good health, we encourage these guidelines:

  • Remember to tie an orange ribbon to a tree or post visible from the street near the end of your driveway. Orange ribbons can be found attached to fliers at the mailboxes.

  • Please offer goodies to trick-or-treaters from the end of your driveway.

  • Masks (spooky or not) are encouraged for everyone!

For trick-or-treaters:

  • Trick-or-treating begins at 1:15pm

  • Follow the routes and times on the maps posted on the fliers and bulletin boards. Maps will also be available at Columbine Park.

  • Only stop at houses with orange ribbons and make sure families are there to greet you from their driveways.

  • The restrooms at Columbine Park will be open, if needed.

Be safe, watch out for the little ones and have fun!
