Free roadside chipping for Dory Lakes

Gilpin County Office of Emergency Management, Timberline Fire Protection District, United Power and Good People Tree Services have partnered to provide free roadside chipping in Dory Lakes and Forest Hills. This project is also supported by a grant received by OEM/CSU from Ready Set Go.

Chipping will begin on September 27, 2021. All you need to do is move your slash to the roadway prior to this day. Your address must be within the Dory Lakes/Forest Hills subdivision.

If you need assistance gathering and moving slash to the roadway, please contact David Sprowls dsprowls10@gmail.com AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Unfortunately, assistance cannot be guaranteed; we will do our best to help all those in need.

For general information, contact Diane Stundon at dstundon@gilpincounty.org. For trees in or around power lines contact vegetation@unitedpower.com

Participants are HIGHLY encouraged to pre-register, but this is not required.
