Entries must be submitted by 1:00pm on the day of the event. Tasting and voting will take place between 1:00—2:00pm.

Dory Lakes will be celebrating Halloween with trick-or-treating on Saturday, October 28!

Orange ribbons will be distributed to mailboxes in Dory Lakes prior to the event. If you wish to receive trick-or-treaters, please display the orange ribbon in front of your house on a tree or post (visible from the road) no later than noon on Saturday, October 28th.

We’ll meet at Columbine Park starting at 9:00am and focus on cleaning up the park and the big lake (Dory Lake).

There will be live music by the NoGo Gillbillies, BBQ and snacks in Columbine Park. Everyone is welcome, not just Dory Lakes residents! Feel free to bring a side to share.

Our Annual Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, August 20, at Columbine Park starting at 11:30. We will begin with our business meeting which will include voting on our budget and electing three board members (our other two board members remain on the board for another year). Our barbecue will begin after a guest speaker and announcement of our new board! Bring a side or dessert to share and your own beverages - we will provide hot dogs and hamburgers.

If you would like to volunteer to count the election ballots and are not running for the board, contact Gary Sloneker at dorylakespoa@gmail.com. If we do not get volunteers, a member of the current board will count the ballots.

Voting Eligibility and Proxy Voting
We will start checking voting eligibility at 11:30 AM as each property owner, regardless of number of properties owned or number of people owning the property together, gets one vote. Also, only those property owners who have paid their dues this year will be allowed to vote. Please make sure you are current on your dues PRIOR to the meeting. We will not be accepting dues payments to vote at the meeting.

If you cannot make the meeting and wish to cast your vote online, please vote using our online ballot the week prior to the meeting. If you prefer, you may also vote via proxy by emailing our the DLPOA president at dorylakespoa@gmail.com with your votes, per our by-laws (please do not give your proxy to a neighbor, these need to be emailed). Please note that online votes and proxy designations must be received by midnight on August 19th.

Abandoned Boat Silent Auction

All of the abandoned boats at the big Dory Lake will be sold to the highest bidder in a silent auction from 8 am - 12 pm, Saturday, July 8. Those bidding must be current on their Property Owner’s Association dues (this year and last).

If you are taking possession of a boat at the conclusion of the auction, you must either register the boat on-site or take it away.

Due to the muddy conditions at Columbine Park, we had to make the difficult decision to cancel this event. Please check back as we are planning additional events this summer!

Fishing derby at Dory Lake (the big lake) with prizes for the heaviest fish! We’ll also have onsite boat registration and a silent auction for abandoned boats. Proceeds from the auction will be split between Timberline Fire and improvements for Dory Lakes.

Fish fry and kickball game at the park. Feel free to BYOB and a side for the potluck!
